About First Church Stoneham

Welcome to new visitors and to old friends. Welcome to all who have no church home, need strength, want to follow Christ, have doubts, or do not believe.

Welcome to grandparents, to mothers, fathers, and single people. Welcome to people of all colors, cultures, abilities, of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions, to old and young, to believers and questioners — and welcome to questioning believers.

Welcome to everyone! We hope you find peace and uplift in your worship.

Children of all ages are welcome at God’s table.

No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here — to explore your faith, to meet new people, and to strengthen your personal relationship with God.

Come join us for worship! Every Sunday at 10am.

Childcare for infants and toddlers is offered in our professionally staffed Crib Room during the worship hour.  A comfy rocking chair and audio link to the service are available there if you would like to remain with your child.

Classes for children in pre-K through 8th grades are taught during worship. Except on the first Sunday of the month, families begin worship together in the sanctuary.  Children are then invited forward for the Children’s Time. Afterwards, teachers lead the children and youth to their classrooms.  On the first Sunday of the month children first gather for Children’s Chapel and then join their families for Holy Communion.

Get Connected!  Please join us for Coffee Hour in Fellowship Hall following worship!  We look forward to getting to know you!  If you’d like to be on our mailing list, please fill out the white card in the pew rack and put it in the offering plate.  You can keep up with First Church activities on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/groups/86229968495/.

Accessibility – An exterior ramp leads into the sanctuary and chapel.  A ramp at the Purpose School door on Church St. leads into Fellowship Hall.  Please ring the bell for assistance at either door.
