Sept 24th | Fall Chamber Music featuring violinist, Tudor Dornescu
Come join us for an evening of musical splendor featuring violinist, Tudor Dornescu, Emil Lancea and Tudor Bota. As Tudor Dornescu is a new addition, we have provided a brief bio as way of introduction.
A native of Romania, violinist Tudor Dornescu has performed across the United States in venues such as Kennedy Center, Jordan Hall and Symphony Hall in Boston. In Europe he has performed at the Concertgebow Amsterdam, National Concert Hall in Ireland, the Romanian Atheneum and the National Radio Hall in Romania.
In 2013 Mr. Dornescu received his DMA in Violin Performance from Boston University College of Fine Arts, under the guidance of Dana Mazurkevich.
Winner of several prizes, Mr. Dornescu has participated in competitions such as the “J.S. Bach Contest” at Boston University, “G. Avakian” and the “Romantic Miniatures.”
Mr. Dornescu performs regularly with ensembles such as the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, Boston University Marsh Chapel Collegium, Plymouth Philharmonic, Indian Hill Symphony Orchestra, New Bedford Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Nova, Back-Bay Chorale, and the Harvard Radcliffe Choral Society.
